They earned it more than any other team in baseball. Those guys want it more than anyone, and I think they could continue to surprise people in the postseason. I can't root for my Mets at this point (also hard being a Jets fan now), so I'll be rooting on the A's.

Hoping Cabrera wins the triple crown too. Most consistently amazing hitter in baseball.

And I wonder how long it will take for Ozzie and Bobby V to be fired in the offseason.

A level-headed manager, a bunch of rookies, cast-offs and one phenomenal Cuban....what a team.

It's been such a great Summer of baseball, at just the right time for me. My son is 6 and he has gone head over heals for baseball. There were quite a few Saturdays when both the A's and our San Jose Earthquakes won exciting contests. Both teams have been nothing short of spectacular. Knocking-out the over-paid Angels was pretty sweet too.

We have tix for tonight's A's game. We bought them a few weeks ago and have not told the kids we are going. Picking them up from school @ 2:15 and headed straight for the O.co. Keep the sweep alive!

BTW, 2-3 weeks ago field level seats for tonight's game were $18 each......today $28. Score!

I am Rays fan but wish Oakland and Baltimore all the best.
Both teams have played some clutch baseball so far.
(I am rooting for the A.L. for the World Series)
My Son is in Junior Little League so that is where my main focus tends to be these days!

Gotta give some props to the old master in Washington. Davey knows how to get the most out of young talent.

As a Rays fan I have to give a lot of credit to the A's and Baltimore those are the two teams I would like to see go deep into the playoffs and win the series.
(But I would root for any A.L. team against the N.L.)
It was a tough year for the Rays mostly because of injuries, lack of timely hitting, and sub-par fielding and by the time we got our groove on it was too little too late.
My Son is going into Junior Little League so that is my main focus with baseball.
Living in Florida we can be out playing ball year round.

200,000,000$ of nothing. Now if only the Yankmees could hit the wall the same way all would be right in the baseball world again.

Go Tigers. Gotta like their chances since they had to play .700 ball and better to catch the Pale Hose. Nice little touch of momentum going and Verlander is going to pitch Game 1 against whoever.

Break out the Strohs and pasties.....

As a Phillies fan who has always considered the O's to be my "other" team I'll be rooting for Baltimore all the way. With the Phils taking a step back this year the birds rise couldn't have come at a better time.
